Network Co-ordination
The EECC Network Co-ordination Project directly addresses the need to create the birth of a new generation of business support services right across the region, growing an environment of healthy competition, creativity and innovation. The project also provides the regional business community with the necessary direct influence into the strategic development and operational delivery of the region's agencies. Offering a conduit for communication between the business world and the regional government infrastructure, the establishment of a fully co-ordinated and highly influential business network, with delivery capacity, impact positively on the EEDA 2010 strategy.
This project establishes a robust and influential network of business REPRESENTATION and DELIVERY at a regional level. The project will include the development of a framework for on-going communication between regional business and the region's agencies. It will also be the springboard for other region-wide, business-focused initiatives. The network will work closely with the British Chambers of Commerce and a host of regional partners to establish an effective network of influence and delivery, all linked directly to the EEDA strategic objectives.
The project is very-much delivery focused, building heavily on the extensive business support services already available through individual Chambers.
However, the project will provide the opportunity to co-ordinate these resources and ensure consistency of delivery across the region. In addition, it will provide many opportunities for sharing good practice and involving business in the delivery of new and emerging projects. It will also provide a conduit for dialogue and partnership working between EEDA and the business world.
Realising the true potential of its unique position as the independent voice of business, and with a new and enviable effectiveness at a regional level, EECC is looking to seize the opportunity for partnership working to achieve key regional goals. For the first time, the collaboration of the Chamber organisations, working to shared aims and objectives, opens the door for exciting advances in regional business initiatives. The Cluster Strategy, the Framework for Regional Employment & Skills Action (FRESA), economic and business development, innovation, creativity and enterprise - all which will be boosted by the enthusiasm, expertise and entrepreneurship of the EECC.
