About East of England Chambers of Commerce
The East of England has an economy of £76 billion from 350,000 businesses and is home to many nationally and internationally renowned organisations.
The extensive skills and expertise of the six BCC (British Chambers of Commerce) accredited Chambers in the eastern counties are combined in EECC to create an unparalleled force in our regional economic development. Operating from 18 sites across the region, with a combined staff of around 150 people, EECC represents over 10,000 businesses, which employ around a third of a million people.
Working with EEDA (East of England Development Agency) and other partners, on a range of exciting business-driven initiatives, we are helping to make the East of England a world-class economy, with the most creative and productive enterprises, contributing directly to the prosperity of the region. We also are helping to shape business policies within the Eastern Region to the benefit of all.
Already well established as the leading representatives of business in the region, the individual Chambers in the East have formed a gateway to pool their excellent regional business intelligence, capitalising on the strengths of joint-working to achieve significant regional influence.
EECC’s objective is to become the preferred supplier of business support in this region. Businesses not only have access to the full range of business support services of the six member Chambers, but tap into new projects, built on the basis of strong regional co-operation and first class business connections.
